Tell us about your role as Business Development Associate
In my role, I focus on understanding advisers' pain points and working with them to find solutions that make their lives easier, and their businesses more efficient and more profitable! I like to bring an energetic and approachable style to what I do, which helps me build strong, lasting partnerships.

What attracted you to PortfolioMetrix, and what keeps you motivated to stay?
I was attracted to the boutique nature of PortfolioMetrix. It’s an exciting time to be here as word continues to spread about the best-kept secret in DFM land, driving our growth even further, now 3.5 years after I joined.
Is it cliché to say it's the people who motivate me to stay? We have a fantastic team at PortfolioMetrix, and our partners, whom we work with every day, are equally as great. The PortfolioMetrix team motivates me daily, with management offering the ideal balance of support and individual responsibility.
How do you like to spend your time when you’re not at work?
I love to travel, and one of my New Year's resolutions is to visit a new place each year – with PortfolioMetrix I have been able to visit South Africa, it was incredible.
On the active side, I enjoy Pilates and walking (even if it takes me 2 hours on foot instead of 25 minutes on the tube). On the less healthy side, I'm a massive foodie, so exploring new restaurants around London with friends is always time well spent.
What do you like the most about PortfolioMetrix?
Since I’ve already admitted to the wider team how brilliant I think they are, I’d like to add more generally (and genuinely) that PortfolioMetrix care.
What does this mean for the PortfolioMetrix team? It means you have a voice and an opinion, no matter your career stage, and the team will always support you.
And for advisers? We see our partners as true partners, not just as intermediaries. We don’t work with every firm in the UK; instead, we maintain a personal touch to ensure we can serve each firm to the highest standard. We've built an ecosystem to support advisers, with everything we do is focused on how best to help our partners.
Additionally, I can't forget to mention the office dogs—meet Harper and Pixie, our furry friends who visit us in the office every couple of weeks!
