Tell us about your role as Business Development.
I play a crucial role in PortfolioMetrix’s growth and success, focusing on identifying and creating new opportunities to expand market presence, increase revenue, and enhance profitability. By driving innovation through partnerships with financial planners, I assist in them in adapting to market changes and regulatory developments, maintain a competitive edge whilst achieving sustainable growth, and maximising their long-term potential.
What attracted you to PortfolioMetrix, and what keeps you motivated to stay?
Due diligence and shared principles! If I had known then what I know now, I would have become a financial planner! PortfolioMetrix's independent ownership structure and long-term vision were major attractions for me. This is further enhanced by our 'modular' approach, which embraces a 'Whole of Market' investment ethos, primarily using strategic asset allocation. We partner with financial planners rather than dictating terms to them. Additionally, our services are accessible on most platforms while integrating seamlessly with the planners' tech stack.
How do you like to spend your time when you’re not at work?
Keep very busy! Lots of time spent with family whilst enjoying many hobbies including Cycling, gardening and the continued renovation of our Welsh cottage (whilst reminding myself Rome wasn't built in a day).
